Visited the Selby Boat Centre Chandlery twice recently for various bits 'n bobs for wide-beam narrowboat Aquila, moored at Naburn. Guy (and his assistant) in the shop unfailingly helpful - and even amusing - which helps to lessen the pain of spending hard-earned cash! Chandlery is an Aladdin's cave for boaters and I've always left with what I wanted/needed - and more! If only all shops were this well-stocked and their owners this helpful...
